Iranian Experts Indigenize Manufacturing of Smart Shut-Off Valve for Household Water
“The smart shut-off valve for the domestic water network has been designed in two models to help water consumption management prevent the wastage of water to some extent,” Hadi Kargar Sharifabad told ANA on the sidelines of ‘Asreh Omid Event’.
He noted that production of the smart shut-off valve for household water is in the concept and prototype stage.
“The initial prototype of the device was made using the possibilities available in the workshops and the fluid mechanics laboratory of Islamic Azad University’s Semnan branch, and in this process, the fluid mechanics laboratory and the machine tools workshop were also used,” Kargar Sharifabad said.
Islamic Azad University's "second step of revolution" under the title of Asreh Omid Event was held in Tehran's Mosalla from May 29 to June 01, 2022 to exhibit new achievements, equipment and products in the technological and innovation arenas in line with opening new windows towards strengthening the idea of creating ground for knowledge-based businesses at the 40th anniversary of establishment of the Islamic Azad University.
