“The researchers at this company have succeeded in producing special air conditioners. We used polymer in the construction of this air conditioner, which makes the product anti-rust and highly resistant, for example against the sunlight,” Rouhollah Habibi, the managing director of a knowledge-based company said in an interview with ANA.

“The electric motor and pump of the air conditioner are completely waterproof and consume less when they are launched as compared to other motors. This reduces energy consumption by 60%,” the researcher said.

The managing director of the knowledge-based firm further said that the polymer air-conditioner has electrical fluctuation protection, input voltage and motor overheating protection, adding that the air conditioner has other properties which make it superior in comparison with other counterparts such as automatic temperature checker to check the temperature degree in the building, automatic and manual 7-degree motor rotation speed, waterproof pump and powerful water pump and a modular design which make it easy to assemble and disintegrate it to carry it somewhere else.

“Solar power panels can be used to run polymer air conditioner made in this knowledge-based company, which will reduce electricity and water consumption,” Habibi continued.

“Adding the solar power panels to these air conditioners make them really a valuable asset in areas that there is no electricity, and also during power outages because they store electricity in the solar panels (battery), which in turn, reduces energy consumption compared to electric air conditioners, in addition to the capability to cool off the outdoor space,” he explained further.

“Contrary to electricity powered air conditioners that consume more energy and produce hotter air at the hottest time of the day at noon, the solar-powered air conditioners produce more energy and are more efficient during the hot hours of the day. These air conditioners do not need electricity when working, so it is cost-effective to use them in places such as sports halls, factories, etc., to cool off the large space,” Habibi concluded.
