Iran Holds Nuclear Industry’s Achievements Exhibition
The most important achievements of the Iranian nuclear industry were showcased in the exhibition. Medicine, pharmaceuticals, industry, agriculture and food, energy, water and power plant construction and geology were among the most important topics of the exhibition.
Leader of the Islamic Revolution Seyed Ali Khamenei paid a 1.5-hour visit to the exhibition which was held on Imam Khomeini’s Hosseiniyeh in the Northern part of Tehran.
Production line of "Tellurium 130 isotope", which is widely used in medicine, especially in production of raw materials for radiopharmaceuticals and diagnosis of various types of cancer, was explained in the exhibition.
"Hemostat" or "blood clot" powder which is another achievement of the Iranian nuclear scientists in the field of medicine was also presented in the event.
Construction of small and indigenous power plants and construction of water desalination complexes were among other achievements of the country’s nuclear scientists.
Iranian uclear scientists’ achievements in three sectors of "plasma, biological and radiation" with very good application in agriculture and food security sector were showcased in the exhibition.
Iran’s achievements in environmental fields were also showcased in the exhibition.
Nuclear instrumentation systems or "radiometric" and "industrial springs" were also exhibited in the event.
Plasma technology was another achievement of the nuclear industry that was presented at the exhibition.
Producing deuterium compounds by processing heavy water and preventing it from being sold raw was another achievement of Iran’s nuclear industry that was presented at the exhibition.
Localization of producing parts and equipment from uranium mines to nuclear power plants were among other achievement of the country’s nuclear industry which were presented in the event.
Utilizing nuclear technology in mining, oil and petrochemical industries, discovery of uranium mines, and discovery of oil wells using airborne geophysics were also exhibited in the event.
