“The company's customers are factories, industries and commercial enterprises that have a production line and need industrial parts. Since the old parts grow depreciated over time, therefore, they submit their request based on the tender, and after accepting the tender, we start our activity to produce their desired industrial parts,” Ali Banna, the managing director of ‘Parmin San’at Avan’ company stationed at the Islamic Azad University’s Dezfoul branch, told ANA.

Noting that the company produces a series of parts and equipment in line with the R&D (research and development) policies in order to indigenize their production, he said, “At present, we are working on a nozzle model which has witnessed 80 percnet progress and it is in the final stages.”

“When we receive a request from a customer, the data is collected and after technical reviews, the drawings, production processes and materials are determined by the technical team, and then the work will be divided among the industrial workshops,” Banna said.

“The production of each part includes casting and turning, and then the project management in terms of time and cost (the cost paid by the contractors) reaches the conclusion, and after the approval of the customer, we sign a contract with the foundry in the first stage,” he added.

In a relevant development in May, managing director of an industrial company in Iran said they design and manufacture spare parts, by-products and other industrial pieces needed in the steel industry.

Danesh Pourjafar, the managing-director of the industrial parts manufacturing company “Borna Qate Pars” told ANA that their company operates in the field of making spare parts, by-products and other industrial parts needed in the steel industry.

“Spare parts and necessary industrial pieces needed in the factory are substitute parts that must be replaced during annual repairs. Some of these parts, such as ‘soil joints’, are imported. To put an end to importing the parts, we used reverse engineering. It means that the company has aquired the know-how of making these equipments from foreign companies. Then by providing raw materials, production proccess of the parts was localized and we managed to maje the parts domestically,” Pourjafar said.
