“Zarrin Composite” technology company managing director Mohammad Reza Etminan told ANA News Agency correspondent on the sidelines of Sirjan Asr-e Omid exhibition that they founded their company at the Incubator Center of Islamic Azad University-Khuzestan branch and now it is located at Science and Technology Park of the Southwestern province.

He said their company makes water supply valves.

“Water supply valves in the water industry are facing two problems. The first is corrosion and the other is rusting due to moisture and.... But the raw materials of the valves made by the company are made of nanocomposite material and they are good alternative to steel valves as they do not have the problem of rusting and have a loner lifespan,” Etminan said.

He, who is doing a Ph.D. at Shahid Chamran University in Ahvaz city, said that his company has been operating in manufacturing industrial parts from nanocomposite materials for four years in a workshop in an area of 400 square meter in Ahvaz Industrial Twon.

He added that their company has been manufacturing other products such as acid tanks, drilling pipes, industrial parts and car roofs.

Asr-e Omid (Age of Hope) exhibition was held on the campus of Islamic Azad University-Sirjan branch in the city of Sirjan located in the Southeastern Kerman Province on May 22-June 1, 2023.
