Mexico's Economy Grows 3.7 Percent in Q1, 2023
TEHRAN (ANA)- Mexico's economy grew 3.7 percent in the first quarter of this year compared with the same period in 2022, according to revised figures released by the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (Inegi).
The service sector, the largest contributor to the economy, grew 4.3 percent year-on-year in Q1, while industrial activity grew 2.5 percent.
The agricultural sector, with a minimal contribution to the GDP, expanded by 2.3 percent year-on-year in the same period.
On April 28, Inegi reported a preliminary growth of 3.9 percent between January and March.
