Iranian Experts Gain Technical Know-How of Making Polyethylene Wax
“Our company produces heavy polyethylene wax which is used as an accelerating lubricant in the car tire industry and production of calcium carbonate plastic, PVC pipes and all types of plastic,” Heshmatollah Maleki, the managing director and head of the board of directors of the knowledge-based company, told ANA.
“This lubricant product is used in the process of curing polymers, polishing the final product and also protecting against physical and external stresses,” he added.
Stating that his company has been working on production of polyethylene and polypropylene pipes for 17 years, Maleki said, “We were able to export these polyethylene wax materials to China, India, Pakistan and Turkiye.”
Polyethylene Wax, also known as PE Wax, is an ultra low molecular weight polyethylene consisting of ethylene monomer chains. PE wax has a large variety of uses and applications. PE Wax is available from on-purpose production and as a byproduct of polyethylene production.
