Milad Sadrkhanlou, the head of the trade promotion center at Pardis Technology Park, said the exhibition of technological achievements in Venezuela is an opportunity for Iranian companies to introduce their products to the Venezuelan market and expand their international relations.

"Following the visit of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro to Pardis Technology Park, we seized the opportunity to be present in the Venezuelan country by attending the exhibition," Sadrkhanlou added.

“Venezuela and other Latin American countries, as well as South American countries, have provided a very good situation for Pardis Technology Park to promote its technological products.”

Sadrkhanlou went on to say that finding appropriate companies to cooperate with Pardis Technology Park, especially in the fields of medicine and medical equipment, oil, gas, and petrochemicals are one of the most important goals for taking part in the exhibition.

“We are also planning to sign an agreement with the Venezuelan government in order to set up a sales market of technological products as the representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran,” he highlighted.

For the time being, preliminary talks have been conducted with Venezuelan companies active in the health, oil, gas, and petrochemical industries, he said, hoping that agreements would be signed with the Venezuelan government and companies in this regard.

It should be noted that the four-day exhibition of Iranian technological products in Venezuela started on Wednesday, September 14 with the presence of 82 Iranian companies and 50 Venezuelan technology groups, which showcased 500 high-quality products.

In August, Venezuelan Minister of Science and Technology Gabriela Servilia Jimenez expressed interest to use Iran’s technological capabilities in the fields of medical equipment, animal husbandry, medicinal plants, agriculture, advanced materials, and the environment.

On September 7, President Ebrahim Raisi reiterated the Islamic Republic's objective to foster relations with nations in Latin America, particularly Venezuela.

At a meeting with Ramon Velasquez, the Venezuelan president's special representative and minister of transportation, Raisi stated that Tehran-Caracas relations are fast developing and that Iran has been a friend of Venezuela in its hard times.
