“We produced an Iran-made remote control terminal system in our company with the aim of indigenizing electronic technologies and industrial control equipment,” said Mosayyeb Ashrafi, the managing director of the knowledge-based company.

“In addition to having 8 digital input channels, 6 analog inputs and 5 digital outputs, the remote control terminal system enjoys the possibility of expanding the number of inputs and outputs under the protocol, and it also has three internal phases by which the power and energy parameters can be adjusted,” he added.

Ashrafi said that the system’s capability to program in standard languages by means of the device's special software designed by the company's experts is among its unique features.

Noting that the variety of boards and the structure of the remote control terminal system provides the possibility of its full adoption to various applications, he said that the main processor board carries out the operations of gathering and processing information, and its software structure is multitasking at the same time.

In a relevant development, a faculty member of Islamic Azad University and his colleagues presented a project whose software and hardware products provide the possibility of remote and smart control of cars, tools and electrical appliances.

“Since the start of membership in the faculty, we implemented several research projects, including ‘the phase control in combination with GPS for vehicles’ navigation’ whose software and hardware were developed in cooperation with colleagues at the electrical and computer engineering departments and a number of distinguished students,” Hamed Banizaman, a faculty member of Islamic Azad University’s Jahrom branch, told ANA.

Another research project is ‘controling and monitoring operation for switching on and off devices and control of sensors equipped with Zigbee mesh network technology based on GSM’ which is now in the commercialization stage, he added.

“The software and hardware products resulting from implementation of these plans will provide the possibility of remote and smart controling and monitoring of cars, appliances and electrical devices. undoubtedly, development of such technologies is the infrastructure for forming the ecosystem of Internet of Things and automation,” Banizaman said.
