Shabnam Alipour, the managing director of Ava-ye Kiasan Institute, set up at the incubator center of the Hormozgan branch of the Islamic Azad University, said the system can operate in Persian, Arabic, English, Spanish, and Chinese languages.

She made the remarks on the sidelines of the Islamic Azad University's "second step of revolution" under the title of Asreh Omid Event which was held in Tehran's Mosalla from May 29 to June 01, 2022.

The event aimed to exhibit new achievements and products in the technological and innovation arenas in line with opening new windows towards strengthening the idea of creating ground for knowledge-based businesses at the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Islamic Azad University.

This type of activity is second to none in the country and Ava-ye Kiasan is a forerunner in this regard, Alipour said, adding that the Russian language is projected to be added to the existing languages within the next two weeks.

She went on to say that start-ups that are working in the tourism industry can especially take advantage of the company’s services while they organize tours inside and outside the country.

In February, the former vice president for science and technology Sorena Sattari, said that 6,500 knowledge-based companies, more than 1,500 creative companies, and 10,000 startups were operating in Iran.

He added that the country's knowledge-based ecosystem accounts for more than three percent of gross domestic product (GDP), and the figure is projected to reach five percent, however, the main goal is to reach a 10 percent share of GDP.

Carrying out research projects in the fields of aircraft maintenance, steel, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, oil, and gas has led to a significant decline in imports, he noted.
