Iranian Knowledge-Based Company Manufactures 3D Body Scanner

The device provides a realistic 3D image of the body, calculating size, shape, and health indicators precisely.

Sajjad Rahmanpour, the managing director of the company, said that the body scanner, named PT-3D Fit, is designed to check changes in size and measure body health metrics during a training session or diet plan.

The device provides the user with fat content, body water content, fat-free mass volume, A Body Shape Index (ABSI), waist-to-hip ratio, and upper body to lower body ratio using the height, weight, and measurements of different body parts, he explained.

Rahmanpour went on to say that scanning with a 3D body scanner does not pose any risk to users due to the use of Time of Flight technology in which optical signals are used to measure depth.

Thanks to the linear movement mechanism designed for the product, it is possible to scan from a closer distance and record more details, and also due to the vertical movement of the scanner camera, no point is left out of the scanner's eye.
