Iran: “Our capabilities are far from depleted”
Brigadier General Reza Talaei-Nik, spokesman for the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics, made the remarks in an interview with Yemen’s Al-Masirah TV on Monday, dismissing Trump’s recent statements as baseless.
“The American grandeur has fallen at the hands of our forces,” Talaei-Nik said. “A significant portion of our capabilities has yet to be deployed, and today the axis of resistance is cohesive and stronger than at any other time.”
Separately, Ebrahim Rezaei, spokesperson for the parliamentary National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, told Al-Masirah that Tehran would deliver a harsher response to any aggression against the country and was prepared for all scenarios.
“The Americans must either submit to our diplomacy and conditions, or bow to our missile power,” Rezaei said.
He warned that any new act of aggression would result in further humiliation for Trump, adding that “the Strait of Hormuz will never return to its previous status, and no power will be able to reopen it without our approval.”
Rezaei also said Iran is in the process of implementing a new legal framework for managing the strait, which is being ratified in parliament. “Based on that, enemy vessels will not be permitted to transit,” he said.
