Islamic Azad University’s South Tehran Branch Produces 27 Nano Products
“The Nanotechnology Research Center of the Islamic Azad University’s South Tehran branch has so far produced 27 nano products on a laboratory scale,” Kalayee told ANA on the sidelines of the 16th International Nano Technology Exhibition in Tehran.
He underlined that the development of these products, along with the start of commercialization processes and the attraction of interest from industrial companies, indicates the progress of the application of nano research at the university.
“The center has been able to establish effective connections with the Nano Fund (affiliated with the Iranian Vice-Presidency for Science), BarsamTech Holding, and the country's laboratory network (LabZnet),” Kalayee said.
The 16th International Nano Technology Exhibition and the First Exhibition of Advanced Technologies of Iran was inaugurated at the Tehran International Fairground.
Running from November 2 to 5, the Nano Exhibition featured over 150 innovative companies showcasing advancements in nanotechnology. Meanwhile, the Exhibition of Advanced Technologies hosted 80 knowledge-based and technological products, attracting visitors, particularly students, researchers, and investors.
