News ID : 9957

The first unveiled product was the ‘Automatic Fault Locator for Power Transmission and Super-Distribution Lines’ software, which was developed by the knowledge-based ‘Dadeh Kavi Viera Zharf Kavir’ company. This smart system, using advanced deep learning algorithms and analyzing high-resolution images recorded by drones, is able to automatically detect electrical and mechanical defects in power lines.

The second product is ‘Potassium N-Octyl Hydroxamate’, which was introduced by the knowledge-based ‘Sarcheshmeh Hamoun Chemical and Mineral Production’ company. This material is used as an anion collector in the flotation process of metals, specially copper and iron.

In the health sector, the ‘Automatic Slide Preparation Cytology Device’ developed by Alma Gene Advanced Equipment company was introduced. This device revolutionizes the Pap smear test (cervical cancer screening) and other cytological tests.

The knowledge-based ‘Mahan Shabakeh Kowsar Iranian’ company also introduced the ‘Smart Mine Barrier System’ as the fourth unveiled product. This advanced system is designed to automatically manage vehicle traffic in complex and hazardous mining environments.

The fifth achievement was the introduction of two new safflower varieties, ‘Fakhereh’ and ‘Soroush’, developed by the Plant Production Technology Research Institute of Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman. These varieties have been introduced with a focus on high oil yield and superior quality, specially in having high levels of oleic acid (a type of healthy fatty acid).

Also, the high drought tolerance of these varieties makes them very suitable for cultivation in different regions of Iran, specially areas with limited water resources.
