Shahoo Hajebi, the managing director of Sabok Looleh Novin Company, told ANA that the company produces lightweight pipes that last up to 100 years in sewage networks.

The company produces corrugated double-walled sewer pipes and spirals from 500 mm to 1,600 mm in diameter, he added.

“We have also produced and patented the device for producing these types of pipes using reverse engineering.”

Using the same patent, the company was founded in 2018. However, the company's work began in 2003. Currently, 40 people are working in the company.

“The pipes we produce are lighter than ordinary pipes. Also, they have a longer lifespan than ordinary pipes,” Hajebi said.

For instance, the pipes live up to 100 years in sewer networks, he added.

Instead of asbestos pipes and single-walled polyethylene pipes, corrugated pipes are used in sewage networks in many countries, because they are double-walled and can withstand very high pressure, he highlighted.

Corrugated pipes have the advantage of preventing the leakage of sewage materials, and being resistant to earthquakes and floods.

They also enjoy low installation and maintenance costs, high resistance to acid and base materials, and much lower and easy implementation speed.

Being strong against shock pressures, resistant to moving soil layers and earthquakes, high flexibility, resistant to ultraviolet rays of the sun, and easy transportation, and installation are also some other advantages of spiral pipe.
