3 Iranian Companies Participate in Finals of BRICS Youth Engineering Competition

“Three technological companies from the Iranian International Technology and Innovation Hub Campus - the International Campus of the Iranian Scientific and Industrial Research Organization, as the only representatives of Iran, have qualified for the finals of the 13th International Youth Engineering Competition of the BRICS member states,” said Vahid Qassemi, the head of the Iranian International Technology and Innovation Hub Campus.
“This prestigious international event, known as the BRICS Youth Engineering Olympiad, is held with a focus on innovation and technology and aims to identify and support young talents in various fields of engineering, new technologies and sustainable development. In this competition, the participating teams from BRICS member countries spent several months designing and presenting practical, technological and innovative solutions to real-world engineering challenges,” he added.
“The team sent by the International Hub Campus consists of three teams that have managed to advance to the final stage of the competition from among dozens of outstanding teams. In the final stage, the selected teams will present their findings and achievements to an international jury, and the top teams will be selected based on expert assessments,” Qassemi said.
The BRICS is a forum for cooperation among a group of leading emerging economies. The BRICS includes 10 countries - Brazil, China, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Iran, Russian Federation, South Africa, the UAE.
