Islamic Azad University’s Specialists Able to Manufacture, Repair Hydraulic Jacks

“The launch of the reverse engineering and parts manufacturing workshop of this university has been completed,” Ali Mousavi Asl, the president of Islamic Azad University’s East Tehran branch, told ANA.
“The specialists of this university enjoy a special capability in the manufacture and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic jacks,” he added.
Mousavi Asl announced endorsement of a memorandum of understanding with the Mining House of Iran and the follow-up to the signing of a memorandum of understanding with Iranian Copper Industries, and said, "So far, we have cooperated with the Sungun and Chadormalou mines, Tabas coal mine, one of the South Pars oil and gas companies, and a forklift manufacturing company."
A hydraulic jack is a mechanical device that utilizes hydraulic pressure to lift heavy objects. It works by converting the force applied to a small piston into a much larger lifting force through a larger piston within a hydraulic cylinder. This is achieved by pumping hydraulic fluid, often oil, to create high pressure within the system, causing the piston to rise and lift the load.
A hydraulic jack uses hydraulic power. The most common form is a car jack, floor jack or garage jack, which lifts vehicles so that maintenance can be performed. Jacks are usually rated for a maximum lifting capacity (for example, 1.5 tons or 3 tons). Industrial jacks can be rated for many tons of load.
