Iranian Knowledge-Based Companies Participate in 9th OIC Halal Exhibition
A large number of companies from 30 Muslim countries, including 13 from Iran, attended the 9th OIC HALAL EXPO ISTANBUL 2022.
The Iranian producers for the first time displayed their products at the Halal exhibition.
The participating countries are displaying products in the fields of Food & Beverage, Cosmetics & Personal Care, Halal Friendly Tourism and Hotels, Islamic Finance, Education & Training, Publishing, Islamic Textile & Modest Fashion as well as Franchises.
The multisector international event was held on November 24-27.
Halal Expo is an annual event organized in cooperation with the Islamic Centre for Development of Trade (ICDT), the Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC), with the support of Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Turkey and other related ministries and public institutions of the Republic of Turkey.
Covering an area of 14,476 square meter, OIC Halal Expo, hosted 378 national and international exhibitors from 36 countries and more than 34,865 visitors with the share of foreigners amounting to 4756 attendees from 94 countries.
