"I was actually interested in paying a visit to Pardis Technology Park (PTP) to find out the possible bedrocks for expansion of cooperation between the Romanian companies with the companies which are in PTP," Greco said while pointing to her presence at Inotex Exhibition held at the venue of PTP in 2021.

She further underscored her country's enthusiasm to cooperate with the Iranian knowledge-based companies which are active in the PTP.

"In Romania there is no technology park similar to Iran's PTP," the diplomat said, adding, "I advised Bucharest's Polytechnic Institute and a famous medical research center in my country about capabilities of the PTP and offered their managers to visit the Iranian wonderful park."

Pardis Technology Park is under the auspices of the Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology.  PTP is being directed by a board of trustees which has 14 members. Head of the board is first Vice President of Iran and includes legal members from ministries, science centers, and academies.

The PTP is located in an area measuring 58 hectares (expandable to one thousand hectares) and is situated 20 km Northeast of Tehran.
