Hydroelectric power plants transform the hydraulic energy of a river, either natural or artificial, into renewable electrical energy.

Ehsan Rastegar, the managing director of Elm Amoozan Company, said the company is manufacturing cluster turbines for remote control of flowing waters in hydroelectric power plants.

Energy supply is one of the main programs and challenges of mankind, he said, adding that energy shortage and recent crises in Iran and the world, providing electricity to villages, farmers, and remote industries, and setting up cryptocurrency farms using power plants are among the market needs.

The use of flowing energy of rivers and surface waters and converting them into electrical energy using remote control cluster turbines could be a solution, he pointed out.

He went on to say that income generation is done through producing and selling cluster turbines, setting up hydropower plants, and launching cryptocurrency farms.

Companies both inside and outside the country have produced hydropower turbines, but this technology has no competitors due to its unique and exclusive features, Rastegar noted.

Considering Iran's energy crisis and frequent outages, on the one hand, and guaranteed electricity purchase by the government and the Ministry of Energy, on the other hand, it can be an excellent market.

This product has foreign counterparts, but the Iranian-made product is manufactured at a lower cost and the volume of production can be high.

In the current [Iranian calendar] year (March 2022-March 2023), new approaches have been taken to support knowledge-based companies both in terms of quality and quantity.
