“This product, which is designed and manufactured based on global LTE standards, plays an important role in the development and promotion of the fourth-generation mobile networks in Iran,” said Ali Akbar Tadayyon, the managing director of the knowledge-based company.

“This product processes and transmits high-speed wireless data, leading to better and faster services,” he added.

Tadayyon referred to the key features of the BBU722, and said, “This product operates in based on the international standards by supporting a large number of simultaneous users and providing standard download and upload services in operators' frequency bands.”

"Our company’s BBU is designed based on the needs of Iran’s communication network, and in addition to high quality, it has greater security than foreign models due to the native LTE protocol layers. Also, providing customized services and full support is another advantage of this product," he underlined.

In a relevant development in November, specialists of a knowledge-based company had also managed to manufacture telecommunication processors which are used to transfer information between two or more points through electrical, optical or radio signals.

“The latest product of our company is telecommunications processors which are produced for the first time in the country, and the design and use of internal technology have been fully completed by our specialists,” Majid Pazireh, the managing director of the knowledge-based company, told ANA.

Noting that the product is used in the telecommunication industry, he said, “At present, the foreign model of telecommunication processors is used in Iran’s telecommunications industry and we hope to replace them with the Iran-made ones in the future.”

The advantage of the domestic product compared to the foreign sample is that this product is indigenized, and changes in hardware and software will be made based on the customer's needs, and the security and data safety is another advantage of the domestic product,” Pazireh said.
