South African Delegation Signs 10-Million-Euro Contract with Iranian Companies
“At INOTEX last year, a delegation from South Africa signed a 10-million-euro contract with one of the companies,” said Sajjad Abbasi Fashami.
“Also, in the Reverse Pitch section, contracts worth 2,000 million tomans were signed to meet the needs and transfer technology between companies and industries. Also, contracts worth 25 billion tomans were signed in the Capital Cafe section,” he added.
Abbasi Fashami underlined that one of the special plans of the INOTEX 2025 event will be presenting present the country's top startups to foreign investors.
The secretary of the 13th INOTEX 2024 exhibition in Iran announced in May that 15 foreign states had taken part in the INOTEX 2024 expo which was held on May 7-10.
“In INOTEX 2024, we witnessed the presence of 450 knowledge-based companies and 44 new knowledge-based products were unveiled in the Pishgaman (Pioneers) Pavilion in the presence of the country's executive officials,” Abbasi Fashami told reporters.
He added that a total of 5 event stages were held in the exhibition and 20 experts addressed the audience in the field of technology.
“About 15 countries, including Canada, the Netherlands, Turkey, Russia and Malaysia, have had representatives in the form of visitors and exhibitors at the INOTEX exhibition,” Fashami said.
“Nearly 47% of the companies present at the INOTEX 2024 exhibition were large technological companies, and 20% of the companies were smaller startups,” he stated.
