Iran-Made Knowledge-Based Product Reduces Waste in Egg Production
“Our product is named poultry ventilator size 140 and shock injection device,” Babak Pourbahram, the managing director of the knowledge-based company, told ANA.
Considering that in the laying hen traps in the poultry farm, when the egg comes out and forms, the hens peck at the chicken droppings, and we had about a thousand egg waste eggs on the way to the mother's hatching every day, by designing and producing the poultry shock injection device, we place the laying hen traps in it, and as soon as the egg comes out, it is immediately placed in the basket and is not placed in the chicken coop, and the mother hens neither peck nor poke around, and when the shock enters the chicken's body, the egg is immediately placed in the basket,” he added.
In a relevant development in November, Iranian researchers at a knowledge-based company had also succeeded in designing and producing egg-packaging machinery that performs the packaging process without hand contact and is completely hygienic.
“Farm packers and egg packaging machinery, industrial and manual jet printers, daters and adhesive labels are among the most important products made by our company,” said Amir Asadollah Golestani, the managing director of the knowledge-based company.
“Egg packaging machinery designed and produced in our company performs the process of correctly placing eggs from their sharp tip into the packaging, fully automatically and without hand contact. This makes egg packaging more elegant and increases the shelf life of the product,” he added.
“Our customers, who are equipped with these egg packaging machines and jet printers, offer products with hygienic, elegant, and completely uniform packaging to export markets, which have been well received in these countries,” Golestani said.
