Cooling, Controlling Temperature of Machinery with Device Invented by Iranian Researcher
Speaking to ANA on the sidelines of the Islamic Azad University (IAU)’s Asreh Omid Event, Farid Naeimi, president of Najafabad branch of IAU said that machinery tool temperature control is one of the basic factors in any machinery operation (turning, drilling, milling, etc.), its productivity and its lifespan.
According to Naeimi, the device uses a TECMT method to cool off the machinery.
“In common machining processes, cooling liquid with different formulations and different methods (immersion, and spraying) are used for cooling the machine, which come with its own special problems. Recently, an innovative design has been carried out, which controls and reduces the temperature of the tool during dry machining,” he added.
The results obtained from the initial tests with the machinery cooling and temperature control device using the thermoelectric method (TECMT) was designed and built by Ali Khosravi and Hamidreza Fathi, mechanical engineering talented students, under the guidance of Majid Hashemzadeh, which was satisfactory and is currently undergoing the registration and gaining process process.
