Uzbekistan’s Foreign Trade Exceeds $36bln in 9 Months
TEHRAN (ANA)- The foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan exceeded $36 billion in the first nine months of the current year (January-September 2022).
Compared to the corresponding period of 2021, foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan increased by $7.7 billion, the State Statistics Committee said, according to the KUN.UZ news website.
During the reporting period, the republic exported products ($11.3 billion) and services ($2.8 billion) for a total of $14.1 billion.
Imports, in the meantime, were recorded at $21.9 billion (products - $20.1 billion, services - $1.8 billion).
The negative balance of FTT amounted to $7.8 billion in January-September 2022, the report said.
Also, in January-September 2022, the volume of gross domestic product (GDP) in Uzbekistan was 627.5 trillion soums at current prices.
