Vietnam Fulfills 97 Percent of State Budget Collection Target
TEHRAN (ANA)- Vietnam posted a budget collection of over 1.65 quadrillion Vietnamese dong (65.2 billion U.S. dollars) from January to October, up 17.3 percent year-on-year and equivalent to 97.2 percent of the whole year's estimate, according to the latest statistics of the country's General Statistics Office.
Domestic revenue over the months surged 18.1 percent from the same period of last year to over 1.37 quadrillion dong (54.1 billion dollars).
Revenue from import-export activities increased 18.9 percent to 227.2 trillion dong (8.9 billion dollars), reaching 111.4 percent of the whole year's estimate.
Vietnam's budget spending during the cited period stood at nearly 1.4 quadrillion dong (55.3 billion dollars), said the office.
The Southeast Asian country set more than 1.7 quadrillion dong (nearly 67.2 billion dollars) for total state budget collection in 2024.
