Envoy: Vietnam Lucrative Petrochemical Market for Iran
Nazari made the remarks on the sidelines of the 22nd Vietnam Plastic and Rubber Industry Exhibition.
“Vietnam's polymer and plastic market is very intact and they are interested in the presence of powerful Iranian companies in their country,” he said.
“Vietnam has been able to grow by 15 to 20 percent in the polymer and plastic industry, which shows the right opportunity for the Iranian petrochemical companies in this market,” Nazari said.
Iran and Vietnam established relations in 1973 and since then the two countries have increased political and economic cooperation through exchange of visits by senior officials from both sides.
Earlier, in October, Head of the Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research in Isfahan Zahed Shafiyee had also announced holding of a joint international webinar to introduce the business opportunities of knowledge-based and technological products with Vietnam.
“With the aim of facilitating and developing the export of knowledge-based products, an international webinar titled the introduction of business opportunities for knowledge-based products and technology with Vietnam will be held in Isfahan on October 20,” Shafiyee said.
“Since one of the important approaches of the Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research in Isfahan is empowering businesses and facilitating the commercialization of knowledge-based products through the development of export of knowledge-based products, this organization introduces export opportunities to countries with high growth potential that are good markets for the presence of the Iran-made knowledge-based products,” he added.
“Therefore, we have a plan for holding a series of international events with the priority of the member countries of the ASEAN,” Shafiyee said.
