The company produces agricultural sorting machines and it has received the knowledge-based license for two of its products, dry fruit sorting machine and saffron flower cleaning machine.

The dry fruit sorter is used in factories that operate in the agricultural field to sort dry fruits, figs, dates and pistachios.

The saffron flower processing machine produced by the knowledge-based company is mainly used by farmers after collecting saffron flower from the fields, and it processes the flower by separating the red stigma of saffron from other components.

The saffron flower can be stored for up to two days after picking, and if it is not processed, the product will be withered and this device is effective in reducing the waste of saffron flower.

In another development in June 2023, researchers of a knowledge-based company in Iran had also succeeded in building a sorting device that separates and organizes different products based on appearance, structure, dimensions, and color by using a smart camera.

“The efficiency of the sorting machine is separating and classifying products. This machine cleans the products, sorts and categorizes the products. The name of this device is a term used to categorize different products,” Milad Houshyar, a representative of the knowledge-based company, told ANA.

He stated that the sorting machine separates the waste from the sound product to present a high-quality product to the customer, adding, “This machine separates, organizes, and cleans the products based on their appearance, structure, dimensions, and color. It works intelligently by using a smart camera.”

“The products fall from a ramp and the smart camera of the device scans the product at a very high speed while it is suspended in the air,” Houshyar said.
