Iranian Company Produces Special Adhesives, Insulation to Reduce Construction Costs
“Our company makes products that can be used in the construction industry. One of these products is epoxy glue; five models of these adhesives are produced in cartridge, bulk and tube types,” Farzaneh Moqani, a representative of the knowledge-based company, told ANA.
Noting that these adhesives are completely waterproof, she pointed out that the cartridge type of adhesive is special to installing rebar, the bulk type for sealing, repairing concrete cracks, repairing in water (cracked space that is in water does not need to be drained), and corner gluing. These waterproof adhesives are produced in white and green colors.”
“We also have polymer insulation that enjoys the technical certificate and factory standards and is used for waterproofing the swimming pool, roof, and balcony. After insulating, there is no need for tiles because its color is completely permanent,” Moqani said.
In a relevant development last year, specialists at an Iranian company had used nanotechnology to produce megastone adhesives with application in connecting all types of building stones, porcelain ceramics, and specially large size slabs on metal, concrete, etc.
“Our research company operates as a subsidiary of Alvan paint and resin cooperative holding, focusing on research and development on different products,” said Mohammad Sadeq Kouchaki, the manager of research and development (R&D) department of Technologihay-e Bartar Farma engineering company.
“In this company, various products like wave absorbent paints, fireproof coatings, water tank coatings, antibacterial paints, floor coatings, slow-burning paints, special paints for underwater applications, nanosil coating, megastone adhesives, etc. are produced,” he added.
Kouchaki said that other products of the company include silera surface repellent (nanosil), cement fireproof coating, water-based antibacterial paint, water-based acrylic lacquer (matte and semi-glossy), paint absorbent, and electromagnetic waves (shield color).
