Spain, Turkey, Russia Using Iranian Video Conferencing Software Platform
A number of clients in the three countries of Spain, Russia and Turkey have preferred an Iran-developed software platform for holding online conferences.
The software platform, called Hamayesh Negar, has so far hosted around 4,000 conferences.
The software platform has taken almost 80 percent of the domestic market and almost four thousand conferences have been held on this platform.
This version of the software has been sold in Spain, Russia, Arab countries, and Turkey, Mehdi Safarpour, a member of the board of directors of Faraznet Company, which has developed the platform told ANA.
He made the remarks on the sidelines of the national Asreh Omid Event which was held in late May in Tehran’s Grand Mosalla with the participation of 3,000 knowledge-based companies, laboratories, research teams, and startups.
We are looking to attract investors to develop the market in the first stage in the Persian Gulf countries and then in Europe and East Asia, he added.
The platform started operating in 2012, Safarpour said, noting that all the processes have been passed and the platform’s brand has been registered.
Some 20 billion rials (about $65 million) worth of the software is sold annually, he added.
“We are planning to take a share of one percent of the global market, equaling $1.6 million in revenue per year.”
