Iranian Company Receives Manufacturing Depth Certificate for Bronchoscopy, Gastroscopy Devices

According to a report by the Iranian Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology and Knowledge, this knowledge-based company produces a variety of flexible endoscopes such as bronchoscopy, gastroscopes, colonoscopy and cystoscopes.

The company is the first and only producer of flexible endoscopes in Iran and West Asia, as well as a producer of vascular occlusion handpieces, products that are produced in the form of two national plans for flexible endoscopes and another national plan for vascular occlusion handpieces.

By using a flexible shaft, flexible endoscopes are used for different parts of the body, including the upper and lower parts of the digestive system, respiratory tracts, urinary tracts, etc., in addition to the abdomen.

According to the Vice-Presidency’s report, this knowledge-based company has prevented capital flight from the country by obtaining the certificate of manufacturing depth from the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade in the amount of 54.8% for the bronchoscopy device and 65.6% for the gastroscopy device, in addition to meeting the domestic needs.

The manufacturing depth certificate shows the value share of production factors and inputs used in the product manufacturing process within the country's geographical territory, which is considered an important achievement for the knowledge-based company, considering the importance of national production.
