India's Forex Reserves Drop to 667.3 Billion USD
TEHRAN (ANA)- India's foreign exchange (forex) reserves declined by 3.471 billion U.S. dollars to reach 667.386 billion dollars during the week ended July 26, revealed the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) weekly data.
This was the first occasion when the forex reserves fell after rising continuously for a couple of weeks, reaching 670.857 billion dollars during the previous week ended July 19.
The foreign currency assets, the major component of the forex reserves, decreased by 1.171 billion dollars to 586.877 billion dollars, the data showed.
Gold reserves too decreased by 2.297 billion dollars to 57.695 billion dollars during the week, the RBI data showed.
