Iranian Knowledge-Based Companies to Cooperate in Super Project of Constructing 27 Coastal Cities
A tripartite cooperation agreement with the aim of cooperation in the advancement of knowledge-based development programs in the field of civil engineering and construction was concluded between the headquarters of the development of knowledge-based economy of civil engineering and the building of the Iranian vice-presidency for science, technology and knowledge-based economics, the specialized mother company of new cities construction and the road, housing and urban development research center.
Javad Sadat Farizani, the secretary of the knowledge-based economy of civil and construction development department of the Iranian vice-presidency for science, technology and knowledge-based economy called the creation of specialized headquarters and the establishment of extensive interaction between this institution and the executive bodies as an important step.
“Therefore, upon an order by the Vice-President for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, the Knowledge-Based Economy, Civil and Construction Development Headquarters was formed with the aim of guiding and planning for the development of the market of technological, innovative and emerging companies in the field of housing,” he underlined.
Sadat Farizani also announced the introduction of technological, creative and knowledge-based companies in the field of urban development, specially the smart city, to cooperate in the super project of 27 coastal cities in the country.
In a relevant development last year, the Innovation and Prosperity Fund of Iran presented the latest achievements of knowledge-based companies at a pavilion in the 4th Iran Smart City Exhibition and Conference in Tehran.
The pavilion of knowledge-based companies in the exhibition was set up for three days with the support of the Innovation and Prosperity Fund at the Grand Mosque of Imam Khomeini (Mosalla) in Tehran on July 2-4, 2023.
24 knowledge-based companies presented their products and achievements in the pavilion at the exhibition.
Network audio systems, engine test software, web-based speaker, e-commerce software, geospatial data management system, integrated management system, road crossing registration system, temperature monitoring system, control and inspection system, renovation system, integrated television management in hotels, organizational evaluation system, smart call system, online educational assistance package, financing platform for innovative projects, online conference with secure system, smart sensor battery charger, hardware equipment identification platform, driver assistance system, smart house, system to facilitate the transactions of foreign tourists, comprehensive planning system and laboratory equipment were among the Iran-made knowledge-based products presented in the pavilion.
Earlier, the secretary of the Scientific Committee of the 4th Smart City Exhibition and Conference had said that the main focus of the expo is on smart economy (competitiveness), smart people, smart governance (participation), smart transportation (transportation and information and communication technology), smart environment (natural resources) and smart life (quality of life).
