Iranian Researchers Produce Powder to Overcome Perspiration, Muscle Cramp

“Our knowledge-based company is located in the growth center of Iran University of Medical Sciences [in Tehran] and it is the first company fully specialized in the field of personalized cosmetics, health and care products with 100% natural ingredients with the help of modern technologies and artificial intelligence,” said Bita Mehravi, a professor of Iran University of Medical Sciences and the managing director of the knowledge-based company.

“Since its founding, this company has been able to grow significantly by relying on the knowledge of its experts and the transfer of new technologies and employing them, she added.

The managing director of the company also said that they produce and work on a wide range of services and products in different fields of modern medical technologies, artificial intelligence, cosmetics and traditional medicine, and produce personalized cosmetic products (suitable to the characteristics and conditions of each person and in consultation with dermatologists, traditional medicine, temperament, nutrition and pharmacist) using the best and totally natural raw materials.

She added that their company has produced two new health and personal care products for pilgrims during hot summer days.

“We have produced a powder that has antibacterial properties, absorbs excess moisture, cools the skin and maintains the softness and moisture of the skin, reduces pain and inflammation, reduces sweating in areas such as armpits and groin, and deodorizes shoes,” added Mehravi.

“Anti-perspirant spray is also one of the other products to meet the needs of pilgrims in Arbaeen procession, which hydrates and cools without causing headaches and helps prevent heatstroke,” added the professor.

She pointed to the paste soaps containing calendula, saying, "These soaps have anti-inflammatory properties, relieve the burning and itching of inflammations, eczema and dry skin."

Mehravi called the powder for relieving muscle cramps, which is a remedy for muscle cramps due to magnesium sulfate, among other personal care products of heir firm, adding, "This powder makes skin soft and smooth, relieves stiff muscles, reduces stress, fatigue and affects the blood flow, it also has aromatherapy properties."
