Iran's Islamic Azad University Mass-Produces Boards for Hydraulic Volvos of Steel Industry
"Islamic Azad University’s Ahvaz branch has had different productions and research and industrial projects in the field of steel industry, four of which have been implemented in partnership and synergy with the steel industry of Khuzestan province and in Khuzestan Steel and Oxin Steel companies of Khuzestan, and the results have been acceptable, including the development of guidelines for assembly and disassembly of crane wheels, indigenization of hydraulic boards for Volvos used in the steel industry and using fly ash in cement and concrete production,” said Laleh Maleknia, the director-general of Industry, Society and University section of Islamic Azad University’s Research Department.
Also, Ali Nayyeri, the head of Department of Relations between Industry and Society of Islamic Azad University’s Khuzestan branch, lauded the appropriate and effective communications of the province's industries in recent years and the movement of university researchers of the province towards practical and applicable research projects in terms of reverse engineering and manufacturing.
He declared testing and mass-production of two samples of boards for hydraulic Volvos used in the steel industry in cooperation with Khuzestan’s Oxin Steel company, and underlined readiness of Islamic Azad University to supply the steel industries with these widely-used boards.
