Iranian Knowledge-Based Firm Produces Air Samplers
“In this knowledge-based company, for the first time in the country, we have managed to produce an automatic sampler and collector of air pollutants,” said Mohammad Sina Siahpoosh, a member of board of director of the knowledge-based company.
“This device, which is known as the automatic sampler of biological air pollutants and continuous dust monitoring device can identify the elements that cause allergic rhinitis, asthma and other respiratory problems in the air,” he added.
“This device is able to collect pollen grains, fungal spores and other biological particles in the air. A suction equivalent to human lung suction is built into this device, which enables accurate and continuous air sampling,” he added.
According to Siahpoosh, the device allows for identifying the concentration and percentage of air pollutants by day and hour, and take steps to prevent and control respiratory diseases.
“This device has been produced by our company for the first time in the Middle East. Previously, only one British company exclusively produced this device, which could not be purchased for Iran due to sanctions,” added the knowledge-based firm’s member of board of directors.
“This device has successfully been patented and passed initial field tests. We are using it and we are ready to start its pilot implementation in the country, concluded the researcher.
