IRICA: Iran’s Non-Oil Exports Hit $17.5 Billions of US Dollars in 1st 4 Months of Current Year

TEHRAN (ANA)- The chairman of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) has said that Iran’s exports of non-oil goods in the first four months of this year of 1403 in the Iranian calendar (March 21 to July 22, 2024) reached $17.5 billions, indicating 8% increase as compared to the same period last year.

Speaking in an expert-level meeting with the members of Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (TCCIMA), Mohammad Rezvanifar, who is also the Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance of Iran, said that the total imports and exports value of the country without taking into account crude oil stood at $36 billions.

The IRICA chairman also that the country's exports of non-oil goods in the first four months of the current Iranian calendar year reached $17.5 billions.

He also said that the non-oil exports indicated an 8% increase as compared to the same four-month period last year.

Rezvanifar also said that Iran imported $18.5 billion worth of commodities, showing a 6% decline as compared to the corresponding period last year.
