Iranian Knowledge-Based Companies Showcase Products at MUSIAD EXPO 2022 in Istanbul
The MUSIAD EXPO 2022 Fair was held at the TÜYAP Fair Convention and Congress Center in Istanbul on November 2-5.
“The pavilion of Iran's knowledge-based companies consisting of ten companies was set up with the financial support of the Innovation and Flourishing Fund and the Center for International Science and Technology Interactions with the permission of Iran Trade Development Organization at the 19th MUSIAD exhibition,” Gholamreza Rezayian, the organizer of the Iran pavilion, said.
He added that the Iranian knowledge-based companies which focus on the production of petrochemical raw materials, detergents, oil and grease, mine blasting, turbocharger solenoid valves, car lighting boards and household appliances, production and quality control of electrical appliances, management of business processes and cellphone operators displayed their achievements and products in this exhibition.
The exhibition was attended by 439 companies from Turkey, Iran, Republic of Azerbaijan, Russia, Venezuela, Georgia, Australia, Belarus, Belgium, the Netherlands, the US, Indonesia, Germany and Malaysia. The event was held in cooperation of the Turkish Ministries of Economy, Industry and Technology and in the presence of the secretary-general andmembers of the Independent Industrialists and Businessmen's Association (MUSIAD), government officials and private sectors, Rezayian said.
He added that given its importance, Turkish President Erdogan visited the exhibition on the third day of inauguration.
The 19th MUSIAD EXPO, that experts believe is the heart of regional trade diplomacy, is held every two years in Turkey with participants from different continents, including, Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and North Africa, and attendance of specialists from several countries including Republic of Azerbaijan, Russia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Indonesia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Iran and Algeria.
The EXPO’s this year edition was held on November 2-5 after a long break due to the Coronavirus epidemic and Turkey hosted the interested people, businesspersons, investors and technology companies from different countries.
The companies present in the exhibition have the opportunity to hold face-to-face meetings with businesspersons and technologists from other countries in a bid to develop their international market.
TÜYAP Fair Convention and Congress Center in Istanbul hosted economic activists and private sector managers in the economic fields of industry, trade, investment, tourism, machinery and equipment, metals, chemistry, construction, textile, medicine, automobile, food, informatics, agriculture and livestock farming.
