Iranian Startup Uses Plasma Technology in Smart Rose Water Purification Device
Effluent of rose water, perfumes and plant essences industries produce large amount of pollution in a way that they destroy trees and agricultural lands and cause pollution of underground water.
Due to their high density, these effluents contain some pollution indicators that exceed the permissible limit, and therefore, leaving them in nature causes them to quickly enter the cycle of chemical and microbial reactions and harm the environment.
The Iranian Giti Plasma startup has managed to produce a smart device to purify rose water and herbal essences.
The device uses plasma technology to remove germs and biological pollutants and eliminate the environmental hazards of these wastes.
The wastewater treated by the device can be used in the agricultural industry and returned to the production cycle.Another important advantage of the device is that no chemicals are used in the process which leads to reduction of costs in industries.
The smart device for purifying rose water and herbal essences is also capable of providing services to other industries, including textile factories, food and beverage industries, car manufacturing industries and cardboard and paper manufacturing industries.
Kamran Heidarian, the manager of Giti Plasma startup, underlined that the smart wastewater treatment device has no similar domestic counterpart in the field of rose water and herbal essences and it has been produced for the first time in Iran.
Essential oils or flavors in addition to increasing the taste and smell of food enjoy antibacterial properties and eliminate the bad smell of certain materials. They have a large market in the world.
In Iran, the profit margin of the flavoring industry is high due to the large variety of these products and due to the vast harms of chemicals, the market has moved towards the production and use of natural flavorings; therefore, indigenized production of these products enjoys a good economic justification for the country.
