“Our company is one of the first producers of GRC in Iran,” said Farshid Montazeri, one of the founders of the knowledge-based company in Iran.

“In the last few years, our research and development team started to produce a new product called microcement, which is designed in three special grades for interior, exterior parts of buildings as well as humid weather conditions,” he added.

The managing director of the knowledge-based company said that the microcement product has entered the market under the Cemic trademark, adding, “Cemic is a decorative and composite coating based on cement, which is introduced as a creative idea rather than as a product. It is a new and environmentally friendly product that is used for decorative purposes.”

“This product covers quickly and is intended for covering large surfaces such as walls, floors, ceilings, etc. It is a multi-component coating that creates a natural surface, like an exposed concrete design. The most prominent features of Cemic are its low thickness, diversity in color and design (texture), seamlessness, and high speed in applying it,” Montazeri said.

According to him, preparations for its export also began from the moment it entered the market. “Today, this product is being exported to four countries of Azerbaijan, Iraq, Oman and UAE.”

He announced the amount of export of Cemic microcement during last year of 1402 in Iranian calendar (March 21, 2023-2024) at the amount of $250,000, adding, “We predict that in the current Iranian year of 1403 ( started on March 21, 2024) its exports will increase by twice.”

Montazeri pointed to Fiber- Glass Reinforced Concrete (GFRC) as another export-oriented product of their knowledge-based company, saying, “This product has been exported to Iraq and Oman, and with the launch of a new factory on Kish Island, ground has been laid for more exports of it to the Persian Gulf countries.”
