Zahra Qazavi, the managing director of the knowledge-based company, said the bracelet needed by patients with Alzheimer's disease and special diseases prevents possible incidents and problems that the person is exposed to by providing necessary information to these people.

She told ANA that the bracelet contains a barcode that can be scanned to access the person's essential information.

“The information is already stored on the backup site and updated at regular intervals for better performance,” she added.

Qazavi made the remarks on the sidelines of the Islamic Azad University's "second step of revolution" under the title of Asreh Omid Event which was held in Tehran's Mosalla from May 29 to June 1, 2022.

Based on the reason for using the product, data such as medical history, contact number, and residential address can be presented to the person scanning through the code shown on the bracelet.

If this information is lost or any problems occur for certain people, possible events and problems that the person is exposed to can be prevented.

“Of course, it is necessary to say that the possibility of disclosing the information by profit-seeking people has been removed,” Qazavi stressed.

For children aged 6 to 12, in addition to providing contact numbers and information about their place of residence, parents can also find out about their children's educational status grades by scanning the barcode.

Even, they can communicate with their children's teachers if necessary.

The Asreh Omid Event aimed to exhibit new achievements and products in the technological and innovation arenas in line with opening new windows towards strengthening the idea of creating ground for knowledge-based businesses at the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Islamic Azad University.

Some 3,000 knowledge-based companies, laboratories, research centers, and startups took part in Asreh Omid Event.

So far, over 7,000 knowledge-based and 1,600 creative companies have been registered and started operations across the country.

The companies are mainly active in the fields of biotechnology, agriculture, food, steel, gas, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, oil, electronics, telecommunications, information technology, and computer.
