“Before this, ‘industrial robotic arms’ were monopolized by certain advanced countries, including Germany and the US, and in most cases we had to import these arms under severe sanctions conditions; but finally we indigenized this particular industry and now we design and implement the electronic board of these arms,” said Head of Robotics and Soft Technologies Research Center of the Islamic Azad University’s Tabriz branch Morteza Abbaszadeh on the sidelines of Rab-e Rashidi exhibition in Tabriz, Northwestern Iran.

“Now we are able to develop programs and manufacture parts of arm robots with the capability of three degrees of freedom, including 4 and 5 to 20 degrees of freedom,” he added.

"The ‘industrial robotic arms’ plan is highly proper for disabled and sick people and those who need 24-hour care. Naturally, a human-being is not able to monitor and help the patient as a 24-hour nurse becaise she/he should rest, therefor, utilizing medical robots seems to be neccesary," Abbaszadeh said.

Medical robots are helping healthcare professionals provide smarter and more comprehensive care to their patients. The healing process can be long and emotionally exhausting, specially when nurses and healthcare teams are spread so thin.

Medical robots can help fill in the gaps and transform the healing process for patients and caretakers alike. Some incredible innovations have been made over recent years that are allowing medical robots to revolutionize healthcare.

The 10th edition of the International Rab-e Rashidi Innovation and Technology Exhibition ‘Rinotex 2022’ was held at Tabriz International Fairground on October 24-28 with the aim of supporting and capacity building for the production of knowledge-based and indigenous products and their commercialization in 11 specialized zones and in four sections, including technological ideas, development and commercialization of technology, sales of technological and knowledge-based products and technological requirements, and the winners were honored and rewarded at the end of the exhibition.

The 10th Rab-e Rashidi Technology and Innovation Exhibition was held with the participation of East Azerbaijan universities, including Islamic Azad University, Payam-e Nour University, Shahid Madani University, Sahand University of Technology, Tabriz University, University of Medical Sciences and other government bodies.
