Iranian Technologists Make 2-4 Seater Airplane Engine

Hossein Pourfarzaneh, the executive director of the project said that he and his teammates conducted studies and focused their research on aircraft engines.

"We have experience in repairing (overhauling) and reverse engineering aircraft engines. We have successfully designed the first aircraft engine and its parts. and manufactured them. This engine is called "TJHP1", which we designed and produced 100% using indigenous know-how," he said.

"The superiority of the manufactured aircraft engine is that this class of engine is rare in the world and we focused our studies on it," he also said.

"To date, engines between low power and very powerful categories have been produced, while an engine between these two classes was highly demanded across the world and in our country," 

The executive director of the project considered their achievement in producing 2-4 seater as an opening new horizon for making more modern products in the aviation industry, saying, "The engine is made for 2-4 seater airplanes and is in the jet class."

Pourfarzaneh went on to say that there were customers from Italy and Russia for their manufactured TJHP1 engines at the recent Russia's MAKS Airshow.
