Iranian Experts Use Nanotechnology to Produce Waterproof Insulation

TEHRAN (ANA)- An Iranian knowledge-based company has used nanotechnology to produce waterproof insulation material, a report said.

Mehdi Darzi, representing Akorzin Namdar knowledge-based company in Asreh Omid Event, said, "My company produce insulation material used in building construction which is water proof using nanotechnology."

"We have seven years of experience, we have done big projects, we are producers and implementers, and seven people work in the company permanently and up to 15 people work part-time in the projects," he added.

“This company is located in Science and Technology Park of Azad University of Tehran, but we also cooperate with the Islamic Azad University-Karaj branch," Darzi went on to say.

He also said about the Asreh Omid exhibition that holding the event was a great idea and such exhibitions could play a significant role in introducing companies and their products.

The national Asreh Omid Event was held in late May in Tehran’s Grand Mosalla with the participation of 3,000 knowledge-based companies, laboratories, research teams and startups.
