Iranian Knowledge-Based Company Produces Anti-Sticking Agent for Dairy Industry
“Our company is active in the field of making food and improving agents and products, including anti-sticking and anti-foam agents for dairy industries (SHAF-200, SHAF-2017, SHAF-102- SHAF-106),” Mehr-o Sadat Mirmohammadi, the founder and chairman of the board of directors of the knowledge-based Shouka Shimi Spadana company and a PhD graduate of analytical chemistry, told ANA.
She added that the company also enjoys the capability to produce all types of edible and cosmetic emulsifiers whose formulates are based on the customer's needs.
“In recent years, our company succeeded in producing anti-sticking agent used in dairy industries for the first time in Iran in line with the country's self-sufficiency goals. In the next step, it started production of other food improving agents and now it has different types of anti-foam agents for different production lines and sugar and yeast industries in its product portfolio, and last year, the company managed to register six knowledge-based products,” Mirmohammadi said.
In a relevant development in September, researchers of another knowledge-based company in Iran had also succeeded in designing a software to increase the production of animal farming units.
"The smart animal farming system has been developed by our company for the first time in Iran," said Hamid Behnegar, the managing director of the knowledge-based company.
He added that the system helps the farmer to have the data related to the location and status of the herd and the health of the animal available by using the wearable collars of animals, noting that the biggest advantage is the monitoring and analysis of individual livestock behavior which is called smart dairy farming or precision livestock farming (PLF).
“Smart dairy farming is a key concept that can meet the growing demand for high-quality dairy products and it can reduce the environmental problems resulting from industrial animal husbandry, decrease the production costs, and increase profits for animal farmers and animal health by using advanced measurement technologies and data analysis,” Behnegar said.
Reducing feed costs, accurate diagnosis of estrus, animal health monitoring, herd performance, and livestock events calendar are other advantages of the system, he added.
