Iran Exports 11 Billion US Dollars of Mining, Mineral Products
Over $11.103 billion of mining and mineral products were exported from the country between March 21, 2023, and January 22, 2024, indicating a 10% increase as compared to the same period last year last year of 1402 (March 21, 2022, January 22, 2023)
With $4.993 billion, steel products and steel chain took the highest share in the exports of mining and mineral products in that 10-month period, followed by copper and aluminum products with $1.220 billion and $739 million, respectively, IMIDRO’s report added.
Also, zinc chain with $480 million, coal and coke with $351 million and cement with $321 million stood in the next places.
Earlier, IMIDRO announced that Iran exported more than $7.4 billion of mining and mineral products in the first seven months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21 to October 22, 2023).
In the first 10 months of this year of 1402(ending on March 21, 2024), more than 52.3 million tons of the products in this sector were exported to the target markets.
