Six Knowledge-Based Products in Agricultural Field Unveiled at "NamadIran" Expo

The first edition of NamadIran was held in Iran Innovation and Technology House in Tehran. On February 13, 2024, a total number of six new knowledge-based products in the field of agriculture and animal raising were unveiled at NamadIran in the presence of Rouhollah Dehghani Firouzabadi, the Vice-President for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy.

The unveiled products are as follows:

Bioguard:

Bioguard is a product produced by one of technological companies in Iran. The country's need for this product is 2 to 5,000 tons annually, and its sales is estimated to be 100 tons by the end of next Iranian year of 1403 (March 21, 2025).

Bioguard is the first herbal probiotic (fertilizer-fungicide) combined with wettable powder (WP) formulation, which contains a special formulation of two important herbal probiotics, Bacillus velezensis and Trichoderma harzianum.

This product can be used to improve the nutrition and growth of plants and reduce or manage the damage caused by soil-borne pathogenic fungi in farms, orchards and greenhouses.

Hyperlife

This product has been produced by a knowledge-based company in Iran, and the country's annual demand for it is 500 to 700 tons. Its sales are estimated at 300 to 400 tons by the end of next year of 1403.

Hyperlife is a heat-resistant probiotic that was produced for the first time in the country for the animal husbandry and poultry industries.

Hyperlife contains spore-bearing bacteria Bacillus subtilis with the capability to produce various digestive enzymes such as protease, amylase, lipase and beta-galactosidase. Using this product, the digestibility of food in the small intestine is increased and it causes a decrease in the feed conversion factor and an increase in production efficiency, and through elimination of undigested food content and waste products in the digestive system, it prevents the growth and spread of pathogenic bacteria.

KiddyGuard

It is a product that has been produced in one of the biotechnology knowledge-based pharmaceutical companies in Iran. The country's annual demand for it is estimated at 370,000 boxes.

This product is utilized to remove bad breath and sore throat in children.

Biobion

It was supplied by one of the pharmaceutical companies based on biotechnology and the country's annual demand for it is 1,390,000 boxes.

It is a supplement produced from iron and zinc and multivitamin. It is a common supplement for general use without a prescription and is prescribed for anemia, especially common anemia in women.

Jowin 45 single-cross hybrid corn

It is a supplement that has been produced by one of the knowledge-based companies in Iran that is operating in the field of agriculture.

The country's annual demand for the product is estimated at 12,000 to 14,000 tons and the sales are 2,000 tons annually.

It is early maturing maize and has the capability to increase water productivity and high potential in grain production.

Electronic plus:

It is a product that was produced in one of the knowledge-based companies. The country's annual demand for this product is 83 million pieces and its estimated sales is 10 million pieces.

This supplement is used on livestock farms to reduce the cost of rising lovestocs by 50%.
