Iranian Specialists Make Tin Bath Equipment for Soldering Electronic Boards
“This device has several bottlenecks, including the casting of the tub (or tin waterfall) and the preheating systems of the device, which is one of the most basic parts of this product. The tin bath machine is proper for soldering or so-called tinning of electronic boards,” Amin Keiqobad, the managing-director of the knowledge-based company, told ANA.
He explained that instead of manpower taking time to solder electronic boards separately for each board, the process is fulfilled by the machine with less time.
“The tin bath device, which is currently made by our knowledge-based company, is presented nearly half the price of similar foreign samples and we enjoy the capacity to produce three tin baths per month,” Keiqobad said.
In a relevant development in May, Iranian researchers at the Science and Technology Research Center manufactured electronic boards used in different industries.
“These electronic boards are used in the automobile industry, medical equipment industry, home appliance industry, greenhouses, and poultry farming,” said Alireza Babayee, one of the researchers based in Iran Research Center of Science and Technology.
Saying that the electronic boards they have produced have already been used in two Iranian auto makers, Babayee added, "We have recently entered the field of Internet of Things (IOT) and home automation with electronic boards."
“Temperature, humidity, ammonia and the environmental conditions of poultry house, greenhouse, etc. are regulated and controlled by sensors and controllers designed with these electronic boards,” he also said.
“One of the most important challenges in the production of this product was preparing the necessities to produce it. Trading of goods and banking payments abroad and transportation should be facilitated,” he went on to say.
He stated that “We have obtained the IATF standard which is specific to the automobile industry” adding, “high-quality parts are used in the production of the electronic boards, which increase their durability.”
