After years of efforts, a knowledge-based company had succeeded in obtaining the local know-how of LNG production and had designed, built and launched the first Iranian LNG production complex in the capital Tehran.

The fuel required to feed the border posts previously used to be supplied from the LNG production complex in Tehran.

After the construction of the second LNG production complex with the indigenous technology by this company in Urmia, fuel supply to other border posts will be done from that new complex.

LNG is a new and safe solution for supplying gas to remote or mountainous areas. To produce it, natural gas is cooled to a temperature of approximately -260°F [-160°C] at atmospheric pressure it condenses to a liquid, and its volume diminishes more than 600 times. This valuable source of energy is growing more and more popular throughout the world. It offers countless benefits and applications, from cleaner power generation to efficient transportation and industrial processes.
