“A smart program has been used in this oxygen generator which provides the ground for communication between the patient and doctor and even the patient’s relatives so that in case of a change in the patient's condition, necessary treatment measures can be adopted,” said Sahar Saberi Manesh, a technical expert at ‘Fartak Danesh Kavir’ company.

“Also, due to the fact that the pathogens that the patients are exposed to can cause many problems for them, nano filters containing nanoparticles are used in the oxygen generator to eliminate the pathogens,” she added.

Noting that the device has been designed for home and clinic use, Saberi Manesh said, “This device has passed the clinic trial stage in one hospital and its performance has been examined by a physician, specialized in infectious diseases.”

In a relevant development in September, a new generation of home and clinic oxygen generators was also indigenized by a knowledge-based company in Iran.

“We have produced 9 knowledge-based products so far. The first product we made was a home oxygen generator with a capacity of 5 liters, and after that we have succeeded in producing oxygen generators with a capacity of 8 liters, 50 liters and 1,000 liters, and the latest model can be used in hospitals and large medical centers,” said Ali Ebrahimi, the managing director of the knowledge-based company.

“Our company has succeeded in producing 30,000 household devices and 50 hospital devices in the past five years, and has also been active in the field of designing and manufacturing monitoring and smart systems,” he added.

Noting that his company has recently unveiled two new devices which are considered as the second generation of home oxygen generators, Ebrahimi said, “One of these products is a home oxygen generator with the same electricity consumption but 20% increase in efficiency and it produces oxygen with a weight of less than 4 kg and 30% smaller dimensions and less noise. Our effort has been focused on providing a more up-to-date device with high power and productivity that meets the market’s needs.”

“We have exported over a thousand oxygen generators to India, Iraq and Syria in the past few years,” he added.
